Peggy Tsatsos is a distinguished Principal Scientist specializing in ingredient science at Mars Wrigley. With a dynamic focus on peanut quality and spearheading numerous external research initiatives centered on aflatoxin mitigation, Peggy plays a pivotal role in ensuring product excellence and safety within the global confectionery giant.

Before joining Mars Wrigley, Peggy amassed invaluable experience in the pharmaceutical sector. She served as the Manager and Study Director of the Small Molecule Bioanalysis Group at WIL Research, where her leadership ensured the seamless execution of critical studies. Prior to that, Peggy thrived as a Senior Scientist in the Analytical Chemistry division at Abbott Laboratories, contributing significantly to the advancement of analytical methodologies.

Peggy holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a testament to her unwavering commitment to academic excellence and scientific innovation. Beyond her professional endeavors, Peggy finds joy in cherished moments with her husband, Christos, and her son, Christian, who is currently pursuing higher education. An avid reader, music enthusiast, and globetrotter, Peggy revels in exploring the rich tapestry of cultures, often immersing herself in the warmth of her extended family in Greece.
