Brian Reed is the Senior Director of Global Procurement for nuts, fruit, and packaging at The J.M. Smucker Company. In this role, Brian leads a team of 12 procurement professionals, overseeing risk management for more than $1 billion in raw material costs. He also partners with Smucker’s top five customers and works closely with sales and marketing teams during customer visits.

Based in Orrville, Ohio, Brian has dedicated over 24 years to Smucker, holding a variety of positions within the Commodities Department. His experience includes sourcing cash commodities and managing financial futures and options for sugar, cocoa, corn, and energy.

Smucker’s is home to some of the world’s leading fruit and nut spread and snack brands, including Jif, Smucker’s Natural, Adams, Santa Cruz Organic, Laura Scudder, and Uncrustables.

Brian earned his bachelor’s degree from Kent State University. He and his wife, Kristin, reside in Green, Ohio, and enjoy traveling across the country with their son and daughter to support their passion for Futsal and Soccer.
